Echocardiography

An echocardiogram, often referred to as a cardiac echo or an echo, is a sonogram of the heart. Echocardiography uses standard two-dimensional, three-dimensional and Doppler ultrasound to create images of the heart, and is routinely used in the diagnosis, management and follow-up of patients with suspected or known heart diseases.

Our office is equipped with the most advanced echocardiography equipment and technology. Our cardiac ultrasound services include transthoracic, fetal and transesophagael echocardiography. Our routine echocardiograms can accurately define the majority of congenital heart defects so that many patients can go to surgery without cardiac catheterization. We are an IAC accredited practice, which means we fulfill the most stringent requirements imposed from the professional organizations and insurance companies.
